“You have nothing for which to apologize,” she answered. “I've already told you this is your sanctuary. I did not say it was only if you're upset or in trouble.”

Serene served breakfast. After clearing the table, she spoke with Eric over their tea. “Eric, before you go today, I want to leave you with some advice.”
“I could use some of that.”
“Know your allies. Think very hard of the people you know, and how they would respond to a Dragon Mage. If someone would kill you, you don't need to necessarily dismiss them automatically. You just need to know who is on your side.”

Dragon Mage: Chapter 10Eric awoke to the sounds and smells of eggs and sausage cooking. He exited the room Serene kept for him. Is this my room, he wondered. In any event, he had his day in front of him. He started to the door, when Serene caught his attention.
“Eric.”
He turned, and noticed there were two plates at the table.
Serene continued. “When you are here, even for sanctuary, you are my guest. I feel it would be quite rude to fix a breakfast and not offer some to my guest,” she explained kindly.
Eric thought, but not for too long. Who was he to turn down a good solid breakfast in favor of the undecipherable mash served in the meals area? “Thank you.” He sat down at the table, thinking of the previous night's discussion.
Serene served them, then sat. They ate quietly. Eric savored his breakfast. After they were done, Serene looked at Eric. “Eric, as I said, we should have been talkin

Wow! This is so neat! Do you have a zoom on your camera, or did you have to get close? Very stunning!

I do have a zoom, but I didn't use it for this (or other bee shots that I've taken). I got closer than what probably some reasonably sane people would. For this photo, the lens might have been a half inch away.

I find bumblebees to be rather photogenic compared to other bees.

I think that's more of a honeybee... Wait! No, that is a bumble. Golly, it's been almost 7 years since I moved from NY to TX, and I remember them being much fatter. (There are no bumbles in TX. T-T)

Oh, I was in the middle of a slightly extensive comment on you pic with the woman touching the hem of Jesus's clothes, when my iPad messed up and I lost all that I typed. I was to frustrated to try again, sorry.
